TALENT SUMMARY
These are technical and business crossover roles involving data and information including data analysts, data architects, data managers, and data scientists, all ultimately reporting into the Chief Data Officer (CDO).
You will work closely with business architecture, business analysis, and solution architecture to define, design and manage data, information, and/or knowledge structures in support of business solutions. You will also interact regularly with the Business Behavior Mathematical Modeling Team and Generic Risk Modeling Team both contributing and consuming semantic and cognitive assets that can be absorbed into the business operating model.
You should be able to present your work products and insights to your colleagues and stakeholders including both business and technical management as needed. You should be able to dive comfortably into the technical weeds when appropriate.
You should also be able to explain the rationale behind your recommendations in clear, concise business terms backed by sound technical reasoning.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
-
lead and/or contribute to the entire life cycle of data, information, and/or knowledge assets from ideation to deployment

research products and approaches towards development and continuous improvement of data, information, and/or knowledge models
-
present and publish findings, insights, and proposed actions to both colleagues and stakeholders
-
lead and/or contribute to establishing, evangelizing, and continuously improve a data, information, and knowledge management practice within the company

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
-
2 - 10 years academic and/or commercial data, information, and/or knowledge modeling experience
-
2 - 10 years academic and/or commercial data, information, and/or knowledge management experience
-
2 - 10 years academic and/or commercial data, information, and/or knowledge solution delivery experience
-
2 - 10 years proven ability working and producing results in a diverse, virtual team setting
-
excellent command of the English language, both written and oral
-
proven ability to present findings and rationale to both technical and executive audiences
-
excellent business social skills
-
recent degree and/or credentials in data, information, and/or knowledge modeling modeling or similar discipline
-
recent degree and/or credentials in data, information, and/or knowledge management or similar discipline
WHAT GIVE YOU AN EDGE
-
insurance/reinsurance domain knowledge, preferably P&C and/or L&H
-
perennial student of data, information, and/or knowledge modeling, methodologies, and support tools
-
perennial student of data, information, and/or knowledge management, methodologies, and support tools
-
first mover/fast follower of the latest advances in data, information, and/or knowledge solution delivery technology
