TALENT SUMMARY
These are dual role positions including both business liaison and business management advisory. You will work closely with business management plus the business mathematical modeling (BMM) teams, including the Business Ecosystems and Business Behavior teams. As a business liaison, you will represent the interests and priorities of any or all of xVP, D, and manager-level management in mathematical modeling initiatives.
You will serve as a primary subject matter expert (SME) to the Business Ecosystems Mathematical Modeling team and/or the Business Behavior Mathematical Modeling team, participating in the entire modeling lifecycle. You will work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure the user acceptance of all mathematical models. You will maintain an ongoing dialog with business management to ensure model benefits are justified in light of total delivery and deployments costs.
As a SME, should be able to express your business savvy and acumen together with business management's interests in a sufficiently clear and cohesive manner that they can be accurately and verifiably represented in models by the mathematical modeling teams.
You should be able to articulate the advantages of the models, clearly demonstrating their business benefits, e.g. competitive advantage, customer satisfaction, market reach, cost saving, profitability, etc. You should also be able to explain the rationale underlying the models to business audiences together with model usage and impact on business operations and decision-making.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

serve as SME in the entire Business Mathematical Modeling (BMM) life cycle from ideation to deployment

continuously research trends, opportunities, and threats of significance to the business

promote the business benefits of the business mathematical models

present and publish findings, insights, and proposed modeling initiatives to both technical and business audiences

actively participate in establishing and continuously improving a BMM practice within the company

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
-
10+ years insurance business experience in any of underwriting, claims, product life cycle, market life cycle, business development, investment life cycle, wealth management, or related area
-
10+ years as SME on technical teams working to improve/rethink business operations, solution delivery, or related business area through technology advancement
-
10+ years proven ability working and producing results in a diverse, virtual team setting
-
excellent command of the English language, both written and oral
-
proven ability to present findings and rationale to business audiences
-
excellent business social skills
-
recent degree/credentials in your particular discipline

WHAT GIVE YOU AN EDGE

5+ years proven success as management consultant, advisor, etc. in the insurance/reinsurance industry
-
10+ years insurance/reinsurance senior management experience in any of P&C, L&H, L&A
